1. Professional Platform Only

DocToDoc is a professional peer-to-peer consultation platform intended for dental professionals. The Platform enables dental professionals to request and provide professional opinions, educational discussion, case-based commentary, and peer consultation. DocToDoc is not intended for patients, consumers seeking dental care, or individuals seeking diagnosis, treatment, emergency care, or medical advice.

2. OTEXE Is Not a Healthcare Provider

OTEXE is not a dental clinic, medical clinic, healthcare provider, telemedicine provider, emergency service, or professional dental practice. OTEXE does not provide dental, medical, diagnostic, therapeutic, clinical, surgical, or treatment services. Nothing on or through the Platform constitutes the practice of dentistry, medicine, surgery, nursing, pharmacy, or any other regulated healthcare profession by OTEXE.

3. No Medical or Dental Advice by OTEXE

Content available through the Platform, including profiles, descriptions, messages, materials, booking information, reviews, support content, and Consultant information, is provided for professional, informational, administrative, marketplace, or educational purposes. OTEXE does not provide medical or dental advice and does not make clinical decisions.

4. Consultations Are Peer-to-Peer Professional Opinions

Consultations obtained through DocToDoc are professional peer-to-peer discussions between dental professionals. A Consultation may provide an independent professional opinion, educational explanation, or case-based commentary based on information supplied by the Requesting Dentist. A Consultation does not replace direct patient examination, diagnostic testing, the Requesting Dentist’s independent clinical judgment, patient-specific informed consent, specialist referral where appropriate, compliance with applicable standards of care, or local professional, ethical, or legal obligations.

5. No Doctor-Patient Relationship with OTEXE

Use of the Platform does not create a doctor-patient, dentist-patient, healthcare provider-patient, fiduciary, or similar professional relationship between any patient and OTEXE. Unless separately and lawfully agreed outside the Platform, a Consultation does not create a direct doctor-patient or dentist-patient relationship between the Consultant and the underlying patient.

6. Requesting Dentist Remains Responsible

The Requesting Dentist remains solely responsible for diagnosis, treatment planning, clinical decision-making, patient communication, informed consent, treatment delivery, follow-up care, documentation, professional and legal compliance, and determining whether and how to rely on any Consultation.

7. Consultant Responsibility

Consultants are independent professionals. OTEXE does not employ, supervise, direct, control, or guarantee Consultants or their professional opinions. Each Consultant is responsible for the content, limitations, accuracy, and professional appropriateness of their own Consultation.

8. No Guarantee of Quality, Accuracy, or Outcome

OTEXE does not guarantee, warrant, endorse, or assume responsibility for the quality of any Consultation, accuracy or completeness of any professional opinion, suitability of any Consultant, availability of any Consultant, any diagnosis, treatment plan, clinical decision, patient outcome, professional negligence, malpractice, omission, misconduct by a User, or any use or non-use of information obtained through the Platform. Any reliance on a Consultation is at the professional discretion and responsibility of the Requesting Dentist.

9. No Patient-Identifiable Information

DocToDoc does not require, request, authorize, or intend to receive Patient-Identifiable Information, PHI, patient health records, or identifiable patient health data. Users must not upload, submit, display, transmit, or disclose Patient-Identifiable Information through the Platform. All Clinical Materials must be de-identified before submission or discussion through the Platform.

10. Third-Party Video Calls and Google Meet

Consultations may take place through third-party services such as Google Meet or similar tools. OTEXE does not own, operate, control, monitor, record, or supervise third-party video calls, screen sharing, chats, or external communications. OTEXE is not responsible for any information, materials, screen content, Patient-Identifiable Information, PHI, confidential information, or clinical details that Users voluntarily display, disclose, transmit, or discuss through third-party services.

11. Not for Emergency Use

The Platform must not be used for emergency medical or dental situations, urgent patient management, or time-critical clinical decisions. If a patient requires urgent or emergency care, the responsible dental professional must follow applicable emergency protocols and direct the patient to appropriate emergency services.

12. No Regulatory or Licensing Advice

The Platform does not provide legal, regulatory, licensing, insurance, tax, or compliance advice. Users are responsible for determining whether their use of the Platform and participation in Consultations are lawful in their jurisdiction.
